In a recent project, GPO Heavylift’s vessel GPO Emerald successfully transported a large topside module from Batam, Indonesia, to Offshore Denmark Tyra Field. The 18,000-tonne module, which measured 95 meters by 40 meters by 50 meters, was skidded onto the GPO Emerald in Batam and transported to its destination in Denmark, a journey of over 8,500 nautical miles.
